DIAA Athletics and Rank One Management System

DIAA will begin using Rank One, a new student-athlete management system, starting with the Fall 2026 athletic season. This transition is designed to improve the overall experience for parents, coaches, and schools while ensuring efficient compliance with DIAA eligibility requirements and regulations.
Starting in Fall 2026, all parents and/or guardians of students wishing to participate in interscholastic athletics will be required to:
  1. Create a Rank One account
  2. Claim your student
  3. Complete all required eligibility forms online
    1. DIAA Eligibility Form – must be completed before proceeding with other forms
      1. Sussex Tech’s Athletic Dept minimum requirement to be eligible to participate in any and all athletics:
        1. Create Rank One account
        2. Answer DIAA Eligibility Form
          1. If you are a transfer student – answer this question by clicking “YES” – the required transfer form will open for you to complete and submit to your school.
          2. If you are a returning Sussex Tech student OR an INCOMING 9TH GRADER, and are NOT a transfer student, click “NO”. Form will turn green and show completed.
    2. Medical Card Upload Form- Upload Page 3 (Student Athlete Medical Card) of the Physical form – jpeg or pdf.
    3. Pre-Participation Consent Form - This consolidated form includes the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness, Heat Policy Awareness, Concussion Awareness, & Consent to Treat.
    4. Emergency Contact Card
  • Important: This must be completed before a student can participate in any athletic activities.
Double-check that each form is submitted and shows as “Complete” (green) or pending approval.

It is recommended for parents and guardians to download the Rank One App. The app allows you to access all forms and information for your student from your phone. Once your student-athlete is placed on a team roster in Rank One, you will then have access to that team’s information and communication from the school and coaching staff.
Parents and/or guardians are encouraged to visit the Rank One parent page for step-by-step instructions and a helpful tutorial to guide them through account setup and form submission.
